Dr. Cristian Navarrete D.

Resumen:

Dermátologo de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, donde también completó sus estudios en medicina. Realizó un fellowship en Dermatología Oncológica (2017-2019) en el Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, en Nueva York, Estados Unidos. Trata pacientes con diagnóstico de cáncer de piel (melanoma, carcinoma basocelular, carcinoma espinocelular), así como también pacientes con múltiples nevos (lunares) con la finalidad de prevenir y detectar precozmente el cáncer de piel. Para esto, utiliza métodos no invasivos como la dermatoscopía, la fotografía corporal total, dermatoscopia digital y la microscopía confocal. De ser necesario, realiza tratamiento con cirugía convencional o cirugía de Mohs, entre otros. Además de la práctica clínica, realiza investigación en la misma área.
