UC’s School of Medicine has worked in close collaboration with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Royal College) since 2010. In 2016, the School of Medicine’s Graduate Programs Office achieved international accreditation from Royal College, becoming the first non-Canadian institution to receive accreditation from Royal College. Now meeting the international accreditation standards set by Royal College, UC’s School of Medicine is categorized as a “recognized institution”, which allows UC’s medical specialty programs to individually apply for international accreditation.
